That’s another fine mess….

Ok today started off with us saying goodbye to our lovely work awayers, Sharon and Jason.

They are traveling Europe in their camper van helping people like us as they go.  We liked them lots, they worked hard, partied hard and were very thoughtful.

So we are back to 3, soon to be 2 again! Anyhow we have now knocked out all the walls that needed to be knocked out and taken out all of the floors that needed to be replaced or removed and removed all of the beams that were in the wrong place! Below are some photos of what we did this afternoon, the hole will be where the stairs will go to the kitchen. There will be a wide walkway were the toilet is and along the edge of the house, this will be a library/gallery. Then we will leave a hole so that below, which will be the dining room, will have an impressive double height ceiling. It was a bit nerve wracking to say the least taking out such a big beam, but so far so good the acrow is in place and the house is still standing!!

bye bye beam! Well done guys – you’re still cracking on with your crazy 12 hour days! We’re now in Italy in the Tuscany region. We’re not doing renovations (just yet!) but our first work day today was spent digging over a very weedy veg patch – very hot and heavy work thanks to the clay soil. Beautiful here, but do miss the Corbieres! Take care, Sharon and Jason xxx

That was quick, so the Dingle didn’t let you down! All crazy here, just taking Jonts to the airport so we are down to 2 again from tonight. Jason I had to force the boys to do the recycling as it was over flowing, we got too used to you doing it for us!! All lovely and hot here and very spring like. Enjoy Tuscany
